Kakegawa City, Yokosuka Float: We-gumi

The 2025 Mikumano Shrine Grand Festival, which colors spring in Enshu Yokosuka. The "neri" (float) of We-gumi (Gunzen-cho). Pink flower decorations and a gallant warrior doll of "Omori Hikoshichi" beautifully decorate Yokosuka in spring. There are 13 floats, one for each parishioner district of Yokosuka, Kakegawa City (the former Yokosuka castle town). The floats are called "neri" and are characterized by the single-pillar manto style (the old Edo style) handed down since the Edo period.
