Morimachi Float: Shimo-Iida, Miyamotosha

Thursday, December 18, 2025

It was named "Miyamotosha" because it stands at the foot of Yamana Shrine. The carvings inherit those of the old float, and the shirin (curved eave frame) incorporates the bugaku court dance handed down at Yamana Shrine. The current float is said to be the third generation.
