Morimachi Float: Nishigumi, Hosensha

Wednesday, December 24, 2025

It is said that Hosensha's float was built with money from selling standing trees, a local "treasure" raised over many years by earlier residents. The character "sen" (僊) is related to "sennin" (a mountain hermit), and the name is said to carry the meaning of a wish for the town to prosper for a long time.
