Fukuroi City, Tenjin-cho: Tenjinsha

Until a few years ago, Tenjin-cho had many elementary school children and was famous for the very long rope used to pull its festival float (yatai). Now those same children have joined the teginoko (pullers) and move the float themselves. "We hope the whole town can enjoy the festival and liven it up together with our growing children..."
